The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2026 returns to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, across two consecutive weekends from 10–19 April, marking its 25th edition. Headlined by Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G, the line-up also welcomes first-time performers Katseye and BINI (the latter making history as the first Filipino act to take the Coachella stage!). BigBang, originally slated for 2020, finally make their long-awaited debut, while most performances continue to be streamed via YouTube, extending the festival’s global reach.

Rather than centring on a singular headline moment, Coachella 2026 reflects a broader cultural shift. Entering a more “mature” phase, the festival moves away from peak influencer saturation, with attendance feeling less performative and more considered. The line-up embraces a global, cross-genre dialogue: blending Afrobeats, K-pop-adjacent acts, Latin alternative scenes, and legacy artists — signalling a departure from predictable pop and hip-hop dominance.

This recalibration extends beyond music. Brand activations evolve from high-visibility spectacle to more private, invitation-led experiences, from the NYLON House to Paris Hilton’s luxury skincare Parivie activation. Fashion follows suit: no longer dictating trends, Coachella reflects them in real time, with a refined “desert uniform” of slim ‘90s silhouettes and sport-tech eyewear emerging. Weekend 1 Day 1 — 10 April

Central Cee performed onstage wearing Louis Vuitton 1.0 Millionaires sunglasses.

Joe Jonas, appearing alongside Teddy Swims, wore metal grey Prada Linea Rossa B03S wraparound sunglasses with striking red-orange iridium lenses.

Revolve Festival — 11 April

Following their Coachella debut, Katseye (sans Manon Bannerman who is currently on a temporary hiatus to focus on her health and well-being) continued their presence at the Revolve Festival.

Megan Skiendiel wore Etnia Barcelona Deia, while Lara Raj opted for Vogue VO5695SU.

Too bad that Daniela Avanzini kept her frames elusive, while Yoonchae Jeong wore Dior CDior B3U B0A0 (now discontinued) and Sophia Laforteza opted for Gentle Monster Ruvy Van 01.

Still at the Revolve Festival, Charli D'Amelio wore Tom Ford TF5812-B 001 optical glasses with clear Blue Control lenses.

Weekend 1 Day 3 — 12 April

G-Dragon, as part of Big Bang, performed on the Outdoor Stage on day three wearing a Chanel Spring/Summer 2026 coat by Matthieu Blazy, paired with grailed Louis Vuitton x Swarovski “Fleur” sunglasses.

Diplo, who performed on day three alongside M.I.A., was seen wearing black Prada B17S square sunglasses with purple lenses.

Coachella’s main stage on day three was lit up by a commanding performance from Karol G, who stepped out in grailed Oakley X-Metal Juliet sunglasses as part of one of her fiery looks.

Grimes performed at the Gobi Tent on day three wearing black and gold Dita Mach-X DTS 463 01 sunglasses featuring grey gradient lenses.

Weekend 2 Day 1 — 17 April

Although we haven’t been able to identify her eyewear (seemed to be vintage), it was impossible not to feature Madonna’s surprise appearance during Sabrina Carpenter’s headline performance.

French DJ Hugel, who performed alongside French Montana and Ty Dolla $ign, was seen wearing brown Ray-Ban Wayfarer Puffer sunglasses with matching brown lenses — a new colourway of the much celebrity-approved frame.

Weekend 2 Day 2 — 18 April

Nigerian-American singer-songwriter Davido, who hosted A Toast to Afrobeats during the previous Coachella weekend, returned to perform on day two of the second weekend, proudly representing his heritage. He wore gold Ray-Ban Aviator Max RB3925 001/58 sunglasses with green polarised lenses, a bolder take on the classic Aviator, featuring thicker frames and temples than the original RB3025.

Meanwhile, boy band NSYNC member Lance Bass was spotted at the YouTube Backstage Studio wearing Ray-Ban Aviator RB3025 112/17 sunglasses with blue flash mirror lenses.

Weekend 2 Day 3 — 19 April

Not missing a beat across both festival weekends, Charli D'Amelio was spotted lounging at the YouTube Backstage Studio wearing Miu Miu Regard MU 11ZS 16K5S0 rectangular sunglasses in black.

For a fashion icon of G-Dragon’s calibre, repetition simply isn’t an option. During BIGBANG’s Coachella weekend two performance, he was seen in black Chanel CH5469B sunglasses; a dearly missed style now discontinued.

Fellow BIGBANG member Taeyang opted for black Chrome Hearts Roller sunglasses.

Headliner Karol G — the first Latina to headline Coachella — stepped out in futuristic sunglasses reminiscent of the vintage Oakley Plate, completing one of her standout looks.

Colombian rapper and singer Ryan Castro, who joined Karol G onstage, accessorised his swank ensemble with black DiorTreasure R1I 10A0 oval sunglasses, featuring crystallised DIOR logo lettering. Available in limited quantity!

During weekend two, Karol G also brought out Peso Pluma, who opted for Chrome Hearts Baby Beast sunglasses.

Rapper Young Thug dazzled onstage in loads of bling, wearing CHANEL 5544 C622/S8 sunglasses with grey polarised lenses, finished with gold and stud detailing — entirely on point.

EMMA ROBERTS - OLIVER PEOPLES

 Roberts is a regular attendee of Coachella music festival. She has been spotted multiple times over the years, often seen hanging out with friends and sporting some seriously cool, boho outfits. 

This year Emma Roberts wore Oliver Peoples shades in the style Oliver Peoples M-4 30th Edition OV1220S 5035/52.

ALESSANDRA AMBROSIO - CHIARA FERRAGNI 

Brazilian model and actress Alessandra Ambrosio attended this year's Coachella in an edgy, colourful ensemble paired with bright pink Chiara Ferragni sunglasses.

LORI HARVEY - SAINT LAURENT 

There's no denying that Lori Harvey has impeccable taste when it comes to styling outfits. Usually mixing high-end fashion with streetwear, she is known for being an effortlessly cool trendsetter. So, it is no surprise that we loved her Coachella look this year. Wearing a sleek yet simple figure-hugging white dress, she topped off the look with a signature YSL sunglasses style.

 HAILEY BIEBER - GUCCI

Hailey Bieber and her chic, modern, and minimalistic style made an appearance at this year's event (of course). The model wore oversized washed-out denim jeans with a simple white vest top. A Hailey look wouldn't be complete without a pair of black shades, and this time, to our surprise, she has swayed from her usual Saint Laurent style and opted for thin, rectangular Gucci shades.

Although we don't have the exact style Hailey is wearing, Gucci GG0516S 001 are very similar!

PARIS JACKSON - VERSACE      

Last but not least, we have Paris Jackson, the daughter of the late pop music icon Michael Jackson. Paris is also known to be a regular attendee of the Californian music festival, this year appearing in a punk-chic attire featuring a tartan print dress and chunky black boots with armour features. She finished the look with a round, brown lens Versace frame that was very much desert appropriate.
