Second last but definitely not least, November arrives as the month of contrasts: where the last of the golden leaves fall for Remembrance Sunday in the UK, Thanksgiving’s warmth, and the promise of Black Friday joy (our promotion here deserves your click!).

It’s also a thrilling time in sport and entertainment, with three major Grands Prix in Brazil, Las Vegas, and Qatar, and highly anticipated film premieres including The Running Man, Now You See Me 3, and Wicked: For Good. But before the roar of engines and red carpets roll, we turn our gaze to what truly fuels our passion... New York sightings!

Week 1

The first week of November saw Sydney Sweeney conquering New York City fashion for days, debuting a new long bob we absolutely adore. According to several sources, she’s in the city for a press and promotional run related to her upcoming biographical sports drama movie Christy, which is set to premiere in late 2025. And of course, sunglasses have become an integral part of her looks. Here are some of the standout pieces she wore:

Stranger Things Season 5 World Premiere

A few days after the Stranger Things Season 5 world premiere in London, Charlie Heaton (who portrays Jonathan Byers) was spotted in the city wearing sleek black Dita Monolix DTS 750 01 frames with cool blue lenses from our Fall/Winter 2025 drop.

Week 3

We’re beyond intrigued to see yet another Wicked cast member — besides Jeff Goldblum — sweep us away with an eyewear moment on the red carpet. At the New York premiere of Wicked: For Good, Cynthia Erivo stepped out in black Balenciaga sunglasses from Pierpaolo Piccioli’s runway debut, the very same style we spotted on Rosalía last week in Spain. And truly, we’re not complaining about the encore.

Still in New York City, we spotted Olivia Munn delivering a duo of monochromatic looks, each finished with impeccable Saint Laurent shades.

Week 4

The last week of November unfolded in Doha with a celebratory elegance, as Qatar played host to a series of prestigious events honouring creativity, innovation and cultural influence across fashion and the arts.

Fashion Trust Arabia 2025

The renowned initiative supporting emerging designers from the MENA (Middle East & North Africa) region through awards, mentorship and financial grants dedicated to building sustainable fashion brands across the Arab world.

Italian singer Mahmood, who arrived in silver Prada PR B54S 1BC30P rectangular sunglasses with light-brown lenses added a futuristic touch against the event’s opulent backdrop.

Spanish creative director Marc Forné embraced a more classic silhouette in Oliver Peoples Aero II sunglasses with warm brown-gradient lenses; a timeless aviator we currently offer in sleek black and gold paired with brown lenses.

Franca Fund Gala 2025

On 23 November, held at the Museum of Islamic Art to raise funds for preventive genomics research through the visionary Franca Sozzani Fund. The evening brought together global leaders in culture and philanthropy to support the future of genomic medicine through fashion.
