Milan Men's Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027: Celebrity Sunglasses and Eyewear Trends
Milan Men's Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027 runs from 19 to 23 June 2026, arriving just in time for Father's Day weekend and once again placing the Italian fashion capital at the centre of the menswear conversation. As the global home of tailoring, craftsmanship, and luxury menswear, Milan welcomes the industry's most influential houses as they unveil the collections set to shape wardrobes for the seasons ahead. From refined suiting to contemporary sportswear, the week offers an early glimpse into the future of men's fashion.
Of course, while the runway collections command global attention, our eyes are often drawn elsewhere. Beyond the tailoring, fabrics, and accessories, eyewear remains one of the most defining elements of any look, framing both the models on the catwalk and the celebrities arriving on the front row. From newly unveiled runway styles to coveted sunglasses worn by some of the world's most stylish personalities, Milan Men's Fashion Week continues to provide endless inspiration for eyewear enthusiasts.
Ralph Lauren — 19 June
The American fashion empire returned to Milan with dedicated showcases for Purple Label and Polo Ralph Lauren, opening Milan Men's Fashion Week on its very first day.

The Purple Label presentation reinforced menswear's enduring affection for navy, beige, brown, and crisp white. Whether expressed through solid tailoring or timeless patterns including nautical stripes and paisley motifs, the collection demonstrated Ralph Lauren's mastery of classic dressing. Meanwhile, Polo Ralph Lauren delivered exactly what audiences hoped for... and even more. Vibrant colour combinations and patchworked prints brought energy to the runway while remaining unmistakably wearable and polished.

As one of fashion's most expansive lifestyle brands, Ralph Lauren naturally offers an extensive eyewear collection to complement its ready-to-wear universe. One detail we particularly admired this season was the celebration of American Western heritage through intricate metalwork, from jewelled belt buckles to longhorn bull motifs incorporated into sunglass temples. Seen on Lewis Hamilton below, these thoughtful details elevated the collection's eyewear offering. From timeless round frames to modern mirrored wraparounds, the new season styles capture Ralph Lauren's unique balance of varsity-inspired prep and tailored sophistication. The result feels distinctly American yet effortlessly international.

With no Formula 1 race on the calendar this weekend, Lewis Hamilton made the most of his break with a front row appearance at Milan Men's Fashion Week. He debuted a new pair of Ralph Lauren sunglasses in tortoiseshell featuring longhorn bull metalwork details straight from the Spring/Summer 2027 runway.

Following his stylish sighting at the World Cup, Maluma jetted off to Milan. He paired his pinstripe ensemble with yellow tortoise Ralph Lauren RL8242U sunglasses featuring green lenses. Contact our team for enquiries regarding this new frame.

As always, Colman Domingo brought his signature flair to the front row, opting for silver Ralph Lauren RL7045 aviator sunglasses featuring a brown leather brow bar. Contact our team for enquiries regarding this exquisite frame.

Scott Eastwood, who demonstrated the exact runway styling, chose brown tortoise Ralph Lauren RL8241U sunglasses with green lenses. Contact our team for enquiries regarding this frame.
Heartstopper lead actor Joe Locke attended the show wearing tortoise Polo Ralph Lauren PH4240U 6089/80 square sunglasses with blue lenses that complement his shirt and tie.
Dolce & Gabbana — 20 June
Titled Vacanze Siciliane, Dolce & Gabbana transported Milan to the sun-drenched shores of Sicily. The Italian stallions were firmly in holiday mode: trousers appeared slouchy and tapered, shirts loose and oversized, while colourful lapel brooches emerged as one of the collection's standout styling statements for the season ahead. If that extra flourish was not enough, bejewelled tailoring adorned with floral and maritime motifs added yet another layer of personality. Set against the romantic backdrop of Taormina, the collection offered a refreshingly expressive take on contemporary menswear.

Dolce & Gabbana's signature black-and-white sartorial codes took a back seat this season as the designer duo revisited one of their most enduring inspirations: Domenico Dolce's Sicilian roots. It is a theme they continually reinterpret without ever feeling repetitive. Each collection celebrates la dolce vita through vibrant colours, rich textures, and relaxed elegance. Loud, certainly, but never tacky. Pieces that may appear trend-driven today often become enduring staples for those who embrace the Dolce & Gabbana lifestyle.

The clothing may have been adventurous, but the eyewear was comparatively restrained. Glossy finishes, square silhouettes, and timeless proportions dominated the runway. It was almost as if the frames were whispering that Italian attitude alone is enough. For those seeking something more distinctive, Dolce & Gabbana recently reimagined Ray-Ban's coveted The Outdoorsman and The Shooter styles through a limited-edition collaboration, both available on Pretavoir.
Spanish actor Joel Sánchez wore limited-edition Ray-Ban The Outdoorsman by Dolce & Gabbana RB3029M 001/73 in gold featuring brown lenses and ivory brow bar. Available on Pretavoir.

Basketball player Kawhi Leonard wore an exclusive version of Ray-Ban The Outdoorsman by Dolce & Gabbana featuring blue mirrored lenses. Contact our team for enquiries regarding this exclusive colourway.
Prada — 21 June
The show soundtrack may have left some guests scratching their heads as they searched for the central inspiration behind Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons' latest outing. Was it the world of early video games from the analogue-screen era, or a post-millennium rock concert? With silhouettes pushed well beyond skinny, the latter certainly felt like a strong starting point, although the references to early 2000s gaming culture and its distinctive size-zero archetypes helped connect the dots.

But wait, these looks were also tuned to classical notes. Alongside Prada's ongoing exploration of gender-bending dressing sat a more concrete and traditionally masculine proposition, offering a wardrobe that felt reassuringly familiar amid the experimentation. The masculinity was healthy and self-assured, perhaps even healthier than the determination required to pull off those cropped fitted jackets and skinny low-rise trousers. And as always, the house's palette and endlessly reinvented geometric prints felt entirely fresh.

The new eyewear was equally captivating. All-asymmetrical shield sunglasses presented as the collection's most memorable accessories, with contrasting frame and lens colours appearing on opposite sides of the face. On closer inspection, devoted Prada followers may recognise familiar elements borrowed from some of the house's most successful eyewear designs, seemingly deconstructed and reassembled into entirely new creations. Will these runway pieces make it to retail? We certainly hope so.
Louis Partridge wore Prada PR C12V 20D1O1 optical glasses in dark tortoise.
Noah Jupe opted for black Prada PR C09S 16K08G sunglasses with black polarised lenses. Last piece available in-stock!

Jaafar Jackson opted for Prada PR A16S 16K731 sunglasses in black.
Basketball player Jarred Vanderbilt of the Los Angeles Lakers wore black Prada PR C02S 16K08Z sunglasses, available at Pretavoir in limited quantities.
Giorgio Armani — 22 June
The legacy of il Maestro Italiano continued as Giorgio Armani combined its Men's Spring/Summer 2027 and Women's Cruise collections into a single soirée. The presentation felt both intimate and personal, with the runway staged just steps away from the front row (well, there were only two rows) a stark contrast to the grand theatrical seating of the house's iconic Armani/Teatro presentations during the tenure of Mr Armani himself.
The collection felt deeply personal too. Now into his fourth major season at the helm, successor Leo Dell'Orco continues to prove that exploring the Armani codes is virtually limitless. After more than 50 years working alongside Giorgio Armani himself, few are better placed to reinterpret the house's enduring vision for a new generation. Season after season, Armani returns to a familiar neutral palette, yet somehow never repeats itself.

For Spring/Summer 2027, green served as the new neutral. Sage appeared almost grey, khaki took on softer undertones, while shades reminiscent of moss to mint and pistachio added freshness throughout. Teal and jade provided moments of punctuation across a sea of understated tones before the collection eventually returned to Armani's signature navy and greige. The result was remarkably effortless; despite presenting 160 looks, the show never once felt repetitive.

Compared to many houses this season, Giorgio Armani also stood apart for showcasing more optical frames than sunglasses on the runway. Crafted predominantly from metal, the eyewear retained the intellectual elegance synonymous with the brand. Even the slightly less conventional oval and hexagonal silhouettes carried a sense of sophistication, proving once again that Armani's quiet confidence ranks among fashion's most enduring strengths.

Spanish actor Arón Piper wore Giorgio Armani AR8254U sunglasses in brushed grey featuring grey lenses.
We currently stock Giorgio Armani AR8254U in striped brown; however, the exact grey colourway worn by Aron Piper is available for pre-order by enquiring through our team.

One of today's most talked-about actors following the success of the new film Backrooms, Chiwetel Ejiofor attended Milan Men's Fashion Week wearing black Giorgio Armani AR8236U aviator sunglasses with blue lenses.
We currently stock Giorgio Armani AR8236U in yellow tortoise; however, the exact black colourway worn by Chiwetel Ejiofor is available for pre-order by enquiring through our team.

Mark Strong looked effortlessly slick, reminiscent of his Kingsman days. He wore the new Giorgio Armani AR8251U sunglasses in black, now available for pre-order by enquiring through our team.

Chinese actor Wang Xingyue opted for one of the most avant-garde frames we have seen so far: sleek Giorgio Armani AR6172T sunglasses in brushed gold featuring olive green lenses, striking a beautiful contrast against his green velvet jacket. This style is available for pre-order by enquiring through our team.
Italian actress Matilda De Angelis attended on behalf of the Women's Cruise presentation. She wore the new Giorgio Armani AR8221 5957/53 sunglasses in muted brown featuring warm brown lenses.

Read our coverage of the Fall/Winter 2026 season below
Milan Men’s Fashion Week remains the undisputed mecca of menswear, where tradition and innovation coexist with effortless authority. For Fall/Winter 2026, the city set the tone with confident silhouettes and refined experimentation: wide lapels, faux-fur-lined jackets, and rich plays of texture such as micro houndstooth that read like intricate prints from afar.
Across the runways and front rows, eyewear emerged as a defining accessory, with a wide spectrum of shapes, finishes, and attitudes reflecting the modern man’s multifaceted identity. From timeless aviators to sharp cat-eyes and bold statement frames, Milan once again proved that eyewear is no longer an afterthought, but a cornerstone of contemporary style.
As always, we’ve also tracked celebrity attendance throughout the week, curating the most talked-about and trending eyewear moments worn by actors, musicians, athletes, and tastemakers both on and off the runway.
Zegna

Artistic Director Alessandro Sartori drew the soul of the collection from the concept of a family wardrobe, where timeless garments are passed down from father to son. Silhouettes designed to last for generations were paired with Zegna’s recent signature; infusion of pop colour, stretching beyond traditional masculine neutrals while remaining impeccably refined. Our favourite eyewear from the runway had to be the brushed gold half-rim aviators, subtly trapezoidal towards the bottom.

Danish actor and brand ambassador Mads Mikkelsen, as expected, graced the event in shades of grey, wearing matte brown Zegna EZ0290 49E sunglasses from our Winter 2025/2026 drop.

Actor Matt Smith was spotted in the front row, also wearing matte brown Zegna EZ0290 49E frames.

Spanish actor and model Álex Sánchez de Mora wore matte bronze Zegna EZ0289 sunglasses with brown lenses. We currently stock this model in gold with light green lenses — drop us a message for a special order of the exact frame worn by de Mora.
Ralph Lauren

The world may be moving beyond traditional “old money” aesthetics, but Ralph Lauren, as a global powerhouse, continues to offer individuality for the coming season. Bringing a distinctly American sense of style and lifestyle to Milan, Ralph Lauren himself noted that the collection was inspired by the many ways men live opulent lives. Amid decorated cable knits, colour clashes, and varsity cardigans worn over the shoulder, we were drawn to the sharp cat-eye frames that shaped many of the runway looks.

Hong Kong actor Tony Leung Ka-fai attended in a rich velvet suit, elevated with pale gold Ralph Lauren RL7091 sunglasses. Drop us a message for special enquiries regarding this model.
Dsquared2

Dan and Dean Caten returned Dsquared2 to Milan Fashion Week with a big, bold bang. Setting the wave rather than riding it. The collection was built with the slopes in mind, nodding to the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. And of course, Hudson Williams of hit show Heated Rivalry made a runway appearance that broke the internet (let’s not forget both the actor and the Catens are Canadian). Ski goggles dominated the show.

Portuguese footballer Rafael Leão was spotted in the front row wearing copper Dsquared2 D2 0168/S sunglasses with purple lenses. While this colourway has been discontinued, the black and gold version is available for pre-order.

Five members of creator collective The Elevator Boys lit up the evening, although only Jacob Rott arrived in shades, wearing black and gold Dsquared2 D2 0189/S/SE sunglasses with a detachable chain, available for pre-order.

Internet personality Pietro Tartaglione appeared perfectly on brand in a fitted suit, paired with silver Dsquared2 D2 0173 “Hype Silver” optical glasses, unmistakably Dan & Dean Caten-coded. Drop us a message for special enquiries regarding this model.
Dolce & Gabbana

Titled The Portraits of Men, the collection featured over 100 models presenting Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s vision; a revisiting of their predominantly Sicilian, subtly Milanese DNA through a more expansive masculinity. Wearable yet distinctly dolce vita, the rotation of black, white, brown, and grey never felt repetitive. Square-shaped eyewear remains a Dolce & Gabbana staple, reworked season after season and always a worthy investment.

Wherever he goes, Benson Boone knows how to turn heads, radiating personality in retro-inspired yellow tortoiseshell Dolce & Gabbana DG4499 3330/85 sunglasses.

We loved how Italian actor Cristiano Caccamo played with texture. His black and gold Dolce & Gabbana DG4521 501/1 sunglasses from our Winter 2025/2026 drop elevated his monochromatic look.

Spanish blogger and creator Pelayo Díaz proved that slick can still be sleek, pairing a light grey striped suit with black and gold Dolce & Gabbana DG4496 501/87 sunglasses.

Turkish-American actor Kerem Bürsin attended in all-black Dolce & Gabbana DG6196 sunglasses. While this colourway has been discontinued, the black and gold version remains available and whispers affluence.
Paul Smith

Clean, crisp, and unmistakably British in attitude, Paul Smith looked to his own past through a modern lens. The result was lightweight, relaxed tailoring that nodded to the late 1970s and 1980s while remaining relevant and wearable even for the soft-spoken men of tomorrow. The eyewear felt nostalgically simple yet powerful in its subtlety.

Lennon Gallagher effortlessly pulled off a floral runway piece, paired with octagonal Paul Smith Lovell sunglasses.

Spanish actor and model Álex Sánchez de Mora wore matte silver Paul Smith Matheson sunglasses with brown lenses.

Prada

It wouldn’t be Prada without challenging the status quo, breaking a few rules, and bending boundaries; from maximalist exaggerated cuffs and contrasting colour caped trenches to deliberately crumpled bucket hats. Both Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons are fluent in this language, and were among the first to declare that pencil-thin silhouettes are making a confident return. The eyewear underscored this proposition perfectly, with frames stretched ultra-wide from east to west, predominantly finished in broken white and paired with light-coloured to clear lenses. Safe to say, we couldn’t be more excited for these styles to land on our shelves.

Damson Idris arrived in Milan fresh from Golden Globes week, opting for relatively conservative Prada tailoring, offset by trend-forward black Prada PR B19S 16K08Z sunglasses that did all the talking.

Puerto Rican singer Rauw Alejandro brightened the front row in an overshirt and trousers in a hue that was not quite blue, not turquoise, not lapis, and not even cerulean, paired with black Prada 09ZS sunglasses. We currently stock this best-selling model in black with pink lenses, transparent blue, transparent grey, transparent green, and an abstract orange and purple colourway.

Palestinian rapper Saint Levant wore matte silver Prada PR A53S 27506Z sunglasses with blue-to-yellow gradient lenses; a choice that appeared strikingly bold on paper, yet read as surprisingly demure when worn in reality.

Australian pop singer and brand ambassador Troye Sivan wore black Prada C08S sunglasses, a Prada exclusive that perfectly captured the house’s bold, future-facing eyewear direction.
Giorgio Armani

Closing every Milan Fashion Week calendar for both womenswear and menswear has long been the privilege of the house of maestro Giorgio Armani, who passed away just ahead of the Spring/Summer 2026 womenswear presentation last September. The brand’s formula has always been clear, yet under the helm of Leo Dell’Orco, the horizon expands beyond familiarity. Lavish textures, so microscopic they appear monochromatic from afar, defined the collection: elegant, assured, and quietly brave. Amid an ocean of refined neutrals, it was the considered punch of green that caught our attention, particularly in the eyewear: striped acetate aviators paired with softly curved metal temples.

Following his appearance on the Dsquared2 runway, Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams joined the front-row gentlemen wearing light gold Giorgio Armani AR6171T half-rimmed octagonal frames. Contact us to order this style!

We also spotted Hudson Williams roaming the chic streets of Milan wearing another pair of Giorgio Aramani sunglasses - Contact us to order the Giorgio Aramani AR1512M model Hudson is wearing.

Ricky Martin, the king of Latin pop himself, made a rare outing in a camera-ready coat and sleek black Giorgio Armani AR6168 sunglasses.

Italian actor Luca Marinelli wore what proved to be the most-worn sunglasses at the show — also seen on Federica Pellegrini and Nicolás Furtado — the matte brown Giorgio Armani AR6173T round sunglasses.

Echoing the People We Meet on Vacation buzz, Tom Blyth attended the fashion show wearing the black version of Giorgio Armani AR6173T round sunglasses, lending his look a quiet cinematic edge.
Please contact us for special enquiries regarding Giorgio Armani eyewear from the latest collection.
As more iconic Italian houses and influential menswear brands prepare to unveil their collections, we anticipate even bolder eyewear moments, from heritage silhouettes reimagined to futuristic frames that challenge convention.
Stay tuned as we continue to spotlight the standout sunglasses and opticals defining the season, straight from Milan’s runways (also Paris Men's Fashion Week) and front rows.
