STUD
The “Stud” is the essential symbol of Valentino’s accessories universe. The square and cruciform shape and the metallic personality, pay homage to Rome and to the Roman Palazzo, characterized by “bugnato”.
Pierpaolo Piccioli continues his process of resignification of the iconic codes of the Maison, where reality and dream, high and low, punk and bourgeois, couture and street cohabit.

Reminiscing on how a simple sign, in the end can evoke instantly the values of a narration full of love that is made of individuals, of workmanship, of poetry and tales. A word that becomes a symbol, and therefore a symbol that turns into a story.
To put fantasy and feelings first, this is how vibrancy and simplicity meet: through visceral emotions becoming real while remaining an abstraction. The range of colors cover the signature one of the Maison and the nuances linked to Couture’s fine fabrics, including inspirations of the last aesthetic code of the Valentino pink.
