Gold and havana octagonal frames in a 53mm lens width, introduced in Chloe's Spring/Summer 2021 collection. These are part of the Joni collection, a new retro concept featuring oversized yet finely sculpted wire frames, allowing for effortlessly comfortable wear. Frames from the Joni collection take inspiration from the delicately wrought jewellery and fine accessories which have long been a signature of the Chloe brand. A fashionable geometric lens shape is accentuated by a slim and lightweight gold-plated frame, finished with brown havana bio-acetate temple tips for added comfort. The classically elegant Chloe logo is subtly laser-etched on the left temple, while both temple tips feature the signature tear-drop cut-out, providing both aesthetic appeal, and the option to attach Chloe eyewear jewellery.
The Maison Chloé was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, an Egyptian-born Parisienne who wanted to liberate women's bodies from the stiffly formal fashion of the time through a luxury ready-to-wear offering.
