Taylor Morris Eyewear was born from a desire to create something which embodied the best of British design. This love was paired with a fascination with Hollywood glamour and a rock and roll bohemianism. Founded by Hugo Taylor (who you might recognise from UK reality series 'Made in Chelsea') and Charlie Morris, when the pair were working together at Chinawhite, a club in London's Mayfair. After pulling all-nighters, the duo found themselves wearing sunglasses in the office to hide their lack of sleep. However, they noticed the same frustration when searching for those perfect shades: there appeared to be nothing on the market that truly reflected their personal tastes and style.
Together, inspired by images of popular culture icons from the 60's such as Mick Jagger, Steve McQueen and Marilyn Monroe, Hugo & Charlie have created a range of sunglasses which are each a modern take on timeless classics.
