Paul Molitor (born 22 August 1956) is a former American Major League Baseball player and manager, celebrated for his exceptional hitting ability, speed, and baseball IQ. Over a 21-season career—primarily with the Milwaukee Brewers, Toronto Blue Jays, and Minnesota Twins—Molitor racked up over 3,000 hits and earned seven All-Star selections. Known as “The Ignitor,” he helped lead the Blue Jays to a World Series title in 1993 and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2004. He later returned to the Twins as a manager, earning AL Manager of the Year honours in 2017.
