The Italian brand, Italia Independent Sunglasses, was founded in 2007 by Lapo Elkann, Andrea Tessitore and Giovanni Accongiagioco. Italia Independent eyewear is in a league of its own, entirely handmade, each pair of sunglasses are created with the highest quality of the materials such as carbon fiber, thermosensitive fiber and microfiber linings. Their signature frames classic in design meanwhile being both super thin and lightweight.
The first product produced and presented by the brand was one of the first sunglasses with the frame entirely made in carbon fiber. Today, the brand still approach eyewear design with a fresh, innovative and smart outlook that allows them to create sunglasses that are unrivalled when it comes to functionality as well as form.
