FILA was created in Piedmont, Italy, by Ettore and Giansevero Fila in 1911. FILA originally produced clothing for the people of the Italian Alps but in the 1970s the brand moved into sportswear. The brand grew in popularity within the sportswear scene and upheld the reputation of its sport star patrons who were so synonymous with incredible performances and victories.
