GQ Men of the Year Awards 2025: The Best Eyewear Moments

The GQ Men of the Year Awards 2025 returned on 13 November with the kind of swagger only GQ can summon; all the more special as this year marked the 30th anniversary of the iconic MOTY issue. The evening unfolded in Los Angeles with its signature blend of glamour, irreverence and razor-sharp style, where celebrities arrived dressed not just to impress, but to redefine the moment.

With this year's honourees including Sydney Sweeney, Seth Rogen, SZA, Oscar Isaac, and more, the event became a masterclass in modern red-carpet fashion. And while the men commanded centre stage, the ladies (and the eyewear) undeniably stole the spotlight!

It’s a “man’s event,” so naturally we begin with the woman who stunned us: Rhode founder, Hailey Bieber (who was also among the honourees) looked stunning in head to toe Gucci, she wears Gucci GG1778S 001 Sunglasses to complete her look.

Amelia Gray Hamlin, stepping out in the brand-new Tom Ford Leona-02 TF1365 01A from our Fall/Winter drop, a frame as sculptural as her presence.

Patrick Schwarzenegger continued the Tom Ford momentum, wearing the season’s big hit, the Penn-02 TF1362 01A with cool grey lenses.

Walton Goggins delivered pure attitude in a leather ensemble paired with dark ruthenium Saint Laurent SL 799 004 oval sunglasses, where fierce doesn’t begin to cover it.

Dixie D’Amelio made fashion collectors collectively gasp in THAT horsebit shield Gucci by Demna Gvasalia from Spring/Summer 2026, first spotted on celebrities at the LACMA Art+Film Gala.

Cai Xukun (KUN) went sleek in black Saint Laurent SL 795, which we stock in a tortoiseshell version (arguably even cooler).

Offset, a loyalist for cool rectangular shades, fittingly debuted the brand-new Saint Laurent SL M152 001, the epitome of versatile chic.

We’re captivated by the entire palette at play here: Evan Mock’s iconic strawberry-toned hair, plus that crisp striped shirt paired with a deep purple tie, add the soft beige suit and black Saint Laurent Sun SL 837 001 sunglasses. Ravishing.

American musician Anderson .Paak looking very stylish in Prada PR A56S 15N5S0

Our best eyewear of the evening? Destin Conrad, without question, in the matte black Dita Emitter Two DTS 445 01 Limited Edition. Truly a moment.

Jhené Aiko redefined the bold cat-eye silhouette in the black Bottega Veneta BV1387S 001, elevated even further by striking yellow lenses.

Donning a new hair colour, Australian filmmaker and writer Margaret Zhang looked very chic in CHANEL 5540 C888/S4 Sunglasses

Among the honourees, multi-instrumentalist MJ Lenderman stunned in black Jacques Marie Mage Scarface with green lenses, radiating quintessential indie cool.

The eternally stylish Luka Sabbat opted for Jacques Marie Mage Assen.

While FINNEAS kept things refined in Jacques Marie Mage Julien

Stay tuned, we’ll be back next year with even more of the standout eyewear moments from the 2026 GQ Men of the Year Awards!
